Statement of Commitment

Rooty Hill RSL Gymsports Academy is committed to providing the highest levels of membership service. This includes protecting member’s privacy. We are bound by the Commonwealth Privacy Act (1988), which sets out a number of principles concerning the protection of individual’s personal information. The aim of the Act is to ensure that organisations handle personal information responsibly and provide a consistent approach to its collection, use, disclosure, access and protection. These new laws give the individual new rights such as access to their personal information and the ability to correct it, if needed.

As a parent or Guardian of a participant in any activity held by or under the auspices of Rooty Hill RSL Gym Sports Academy, Gymnastics NSW, Gymnastics Australia, or an affiliated club, you must meet the following requirements in regards to your conduct during any such activity or event:

In addition to Rooty Hill RHRSL Gymsports General Code of Behavior, you must meet the following requirements in regard to 

your conduct during any activity held or sanctioned by Rooty Hill RSL Gymsports, Gymnastics NSW, Gymnastics Australia, or 

an affiliated club and in your role as a participant in any activity held by or under the auspices of Rooty Hill RSL Gymsports,
Gymnastics NSW, Gymnastics Australia, or an affiliated club:

Please note that all participants & staff of the Academy may be photographed at any time for promotional reasons. If you do not wish to be photographed or videoed, please let reception know.
Parents/viewers are not to take photos or videos of any gymnasts at the Academy.
